How often is SafeGraph data updated?

SafeGraph Core and Geometry datasets are updated monthly. US Patterns data is offered with either monthly or weekly updates for flexibility in analysis based on your use case.

Does SafeGraph offer demographics data?

We do not build our own demographics dataset, but to make it easier to add context to our data, we have cleaned the US Census Bureau's demographic data for you. Visit our census data page to learn more and download the free dataset.

Where does the device data in Patterns come from?

We partner with mobile applications that obtain opt-in consent from its users to collect anonymous location data. This data is not associated with any name or email address. This data includes the latitude and longitude of a device at a given point in time. We take this latitude/longitude information and determine visits to points of interest. We then aggregate these anonymous visits to create our Patterns product.
