The role of alcohol outlet visits derived from mobile phone location data in enhancing domestic violence prediction at the neighborhood level

Hi everyone, we have a new work coming out in the journal Health & Place: The role of alcohol outlet visits derived from mobile phone location data in enhancing domestic violence prediction at the neighborhood level - ScienceDirect

We asked the question: can we derive alcohol outlet visits from SafeGraph’s mobile location data and use the derived visits to predict a type of alcohol-related harm, domestic violence? Four machine learning and statistical models were used to explore this question. Your comments and questions are very welcome! Again, many thanks to SafeGraph for sharing the data with the research community!
